This bass marked the start of using new, laser cut templates for the wings. In going with the laser cut templates instead of the MDF I’d used previously, I was able to achieve better accuracy and consistency in control layout and cover positioning than before.

This was also a first for Better Mousetrap Guitars in that it was the first production unit of the single-cut shape that has become the mainstay of the brand.
