Expanding on my single-cut shape, I wanted to try something a little different here. One of my customers asked me to make him an electric ukulele. The scale length is slightly longer than a standard, concert ukulele which made it a little more playable and allowed me to extend the fretboard to a higher scale.

Originally, I’d planned on burying the pickup from the back of the body so that the front would be clean, but after putting the back contours on it, I’d run out of real estate. Going forward with this design, I’d probably use a single-coil blade pickup instead of the bass pickup.
